Laboratory Analysis - Our topsoil testing includes all relevant aspects of BS 3882 certification, needed for the movement or sale of topsoil, and analyses topsoil for a number of different properties including topsoil texture, stone content, organic matter content and pH, as well as, topsoil Carbonate, Nitrogen, Carbon:Nitrogen ratio and nutrients present in the topsoil. Our test also includes analysis of electrical conductivity, phytotoxic contaminants and visible contaminants.

Clear & Jargon Free Reporting - The results of our analysis will be presented in a clear and easy to understand report, detailing the quality and characteristics of the topsoil with regards to the relevant factors of BS 3882 and will include a declaration of compliance showing whether the topsoil meets the specifications of the standard. This report will also show the grade of the topsoil which can be multipurpose (topsoil that can be used in various conditions), acidic (topsoil with low pH), low fertility (topsoil with lower nutrient concentrations) or calcareous (chalky topsoil composed of a large amount of calcium carbonate).
